Full Lace Wigs

Full Lace WigsWhen considering new wigs, the option of choosing full lace wigs is one which purchasers should consider. By wearing these wigs, individuals are going to notice that the fine lace materials and the individual hair which is tied onto the lace make full lace wigs more durable. Also, full lace wigs are more realistic looking than other wigs that can be purchased on the market today. Whether the necessity for the wig is due to a medical condition where hair loss is prominent, or whether you are purchasing the wigs as a fashion accessory, full lace wigs are the optimal option to consider. These wigs will even assist in the growth of natural hair.

The ease of use, the natural appearance, and the life like feel of full lace wigs are added benefits which other styles of wigs do not offer. If the wig is properly made and purchased from the right source, it is very difficult to discern a full lace wig from one’s own hair. Whether it is used to cover balding areas or for those who have lost their hair due to medical conditions, the only person who will know that you are wearing a full lace wig is going to be the individual who is wearing the wig.

The option of choosing full lace wigs is also one which can be chosen by all ethnicities. Due to the design of the wigs and the natural hair which is used in their design, anyone can purchase these wigs and rest assured they will still offer the appearance of real hair. Unfortunately, other cheaper wig options will not provide this value and can easily be spotted by others as fake hair.

Benefits of full lace wigs

Another benefit of full lace wigs in comparison to several other styles of wigs is the ability to wear your hair in many different styles. Therefore, you can model the wigs to mimic a current fashion trend or you can wear them to give yourself a smooth natural look. Whichever appearance you are going for, these wigs will allow you to achieve it. The full lace wigs can be done up in a pony tail or bun; can be put up in a stylish hairdo; can be purchased in varying lengths, or can be worn naturally, depending on the ones you purchase. The full lace wigs are also more comfortable and light weight compared to other traditional wig options.

Whatever reasons you decide to purchase the full lace wigs, whether it be due to hair loss, to mimic a celebrity hairdo, or because you like the look and appearance, choosing full lace wigs over other traditional options is the best choice. Today, these wigs are more affordable and offer the added benefits of comfort, natural look, and light weight feeling, which other wigs on the market do not offer.

In summary, wearing a full lace wig will not only give you an authentic look, but is one of the healthier ways to add style to your current look.

Lace Front Wigs

Lace Front WigsLace front wigs are gradually replacing conventional wigs and hair extension systems.  This is certainly no surprise as women now prefer to wear natural looking wigs, instead of making it obvious to all that the hair is artificial. Beside, these special wigs are the best for managing any form of hair issue, including medical conditions such as traction alopecia.

Traction alopecia to Lace Front Wigs

Traction alopecia is hair loss resulting from consistent weaves, tight braids, twist, hair-rollers, dread-locks and similar hair fashion systems. If you start noticing thinning hair in front, just slightly above your forehead, this may be a telltale sign of traction alopecia.  Also, thinning hair slightly above your ear level may also be a sign of traction alopecia.

Mostly, young girls are the victims of traction alopecia, and the condition can deteriorate to permanent hair loss if the roots of the hairs become terribly damaged. But, you don’t have to lose hope if you are already seeing the signs of traction alopecia.

So, What is the Solution to Traction Alopecia and Lace Front Wigs?

Lace front wigs have been proven over and again to help in re-growing partial hair-loss resulting from traction alopecia. Once you notice the signs of this hair-loss condition, do not delay any further, so that you can avoid severe damage to the roots of your hairs. You can remedy the situation on time by desisting from tight braids (usually worn under regular wigs), constant hair rolling and heat-drying. So, what should you do?

Instead of continuing to put pressure on your hair by combing, rolling, heat-styling or wearing tight braids, use lace front wigs to provide yourself with hair that looks exactly like your own hair, while allowing your real hair to re-grow under the lace front wig.

Don’t think for a moment that this is a sales hype, lace front wigs can help remedy your hair from the severe impact of traction alopecia.

Bye-Bye to Tracks and Threads on Full Lace Wigs

If you are like me, you would keep hissing and fussing each time the stylist is passing the needle and thread through your weaved hair just to apply a wig. Sometimes, it would appear as though the needle is almost pricking your scalp – in fact, it does sometimes! What happens if the needle is not sterilized, and perhaps it has been used on other persons before you? Okay, you sat back and endured the rigors, but it doesn’t end there, you will still have to bear the discomfort and inconveniences that the treads and tracks would cause for the entire period you have to wear the wig.

Way to get Full Lace Wigs

The best way to say goodbye to tracks and threads, and even having to sit and wait for your turn in the salon is to switch to full lace wigs. These special wigs eliminate tracks, threads and other inconveniences that come with the traditional wigs and hair extension systems. The lace-base, specially constructed wig cap and the glue system of applying Full Lace wigs make all the difference. More importantly, no one would know you are wearing Full Lace Wigs.

Human Hair Wigs Terminologies

Human hair wigs

Human Hair WigsHuman hair wigs are highly preferred to synthetic hair wigs. The reason is not far-fetched; human hair lace wigs provide a better way to create complete realistic hair-look with wigs constructed with lace. In addition, wearing any hairstyle to match your outfit or mood is achieved in a jiffy when human hair lace wigs are involved.

There are certain terminologies that are associated with human hair wigs. Sometimes, people appear to be confused about these terms, especially the beginners. Here, we will examine the popular terms associated with human hair systems;

Remi Hair

Typically, Remi hair is from India. However, there may be some Remi hair sourced from other locations such as Brazil or Native America. A special technique is employed in harvesting remi hair. Consequently, the entire cuticles of the harvested hair are aligned towards the same direction. Also, Remi hair harvested in such special manner does not tangle easily but stays smooth at all times. Obviously, this category of human hair wigs would come with higher price tags.

Processed Human Hair Wigs

When human hair is harvested from the donors and collated, chemical process is necessary for obtaining other hair colors apart from the original black, brown or blonde hair color. When this happens, the outcome is known as processed human hair. Also, since most human hair units come originally straight, there is need to process the hair in order to obtain variety of textures such as wavy, curly, kinky and afro textures.

Unprocessed Human Hair Wigs

The Remi Hair that remains in its original state without any form of alteration is known as unprocessed human hair wigs. These ones are pricier than the processed human hair units. They are often known as virgin human hair wigs.

Single Donor Human Hair

This simply implies that the hair was harvested from just one person. So, all the features in terms of hair color, cuticle alignment and hair texture would be uniform. The single donor human hair wigs are expensive as well.

Lace Front Wigs – How to Remove Tape Adhesive

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

Lace Front Wigs

Lace Front WigsWhen you apply your Lace Front Wigs, you would probably wear it for 3 weeks or more depending on your intended duration (temporal or extended). Afterwards, removal of the lace front unit follows suit. The liquid and tape adhesives are used in applying lace front wigs. If you opt for tape adhesive, this article would teach you how to remove a lace front unit that has been applied with tape.

Lace Front Wigs you Would Need

Before removing your special wig, you need to get the items for this task ready and handy.

You would need the following items

  • 99% Isopropyl alcohol or 100% acetone
  • Cotton ball
  • Glass bowlProcedure:

Lace Front Wigs

Step 1: Put the alcohol or acetone into the small glass bowl – a tablespoon full measurement would be just okay. If you need the tape adhesive to become weak faster, acetone would be preferred to alcohol.

Step 2: dip the cotton ball into the acetone or alcohol and allow it to soak properly. Then, dab the solution on the areas where the tape has been applied to secure the unit, and around the entire circumference that features the lace. This process is the point where the tape adhesive holding the lace front wigs becomes weak and starts losing grip of the lace front unit. Wait for about 10 minutes, while looking out for the areas that are resistant so that you can apply more alcohol.

Step 3: now, pull the lace front unit gently to check if the unit can lift without pressure. If yes, pull and remove the unit – otherwise, apply more alcohol or acetone so that the tape adhesive would be completely weakened.

Wash the lace front wigs with quality shampoo immediately after un-installing it. Don’t forget to apply quality conditioner as well. Use the alcohol to get rid of tape adhesive residue on the Lace Front Wigs.

Lace Front Wigs – What Do I Need to Apply My Lace Front Unit?

Monday, January 9th, 2012

Lace Front Wigs

Lace Front WigsOne of the desirable features of lace front wigs over the regular wigs is that you can apply your lace front unit without the help of a pro – it is called do-it-yourself. On the other hand, you can rarely embark on a D.I.Y application when regular wigs are involved, since they basically require sewing.

Things You Would Need for Lace Front Wigs Application

•    Lace front wig
•    Adhesive
•    Rubbing alcohol
•    Sharp pair of scissors
•    Bobby pins
•    Scalp protector

The items above are the basic things you need for lace front wigs application. Here’s what you need each item for;

Lace Front Wig; this is the major item, the wig that you want to wear. You can purchase already-made unit or request for a custom unit. You may decide to go for the human hair or synthetic version. But, bear in mind that you will not achieve styling versatility with the synthetic lace front wigs.

Adhesive

Adhesive is what you will use to attach your lace front unit and hold it onto your scalp for as long as you will wear the wig. The liquid adhesive seems to be more popular among lace front unit wearers. However, it’s all about choice. Some people prefer the tape since it doesn’t produce the gooey mess that is common with liquid adhesive. Also, depending on how long you want to wear your wig, you can find super-hold adhesive for extended wear, and the regular adhesives for temporal/short term wear.

Rubbing Alcohol on lace front wigs

Use the rubbing alcohol to get rid of oil and dirt from your scalp, especially the areas where the adhesive would be applied.
Scalp Protector

Scalp protector is helpful for lace front wigs application. The product would shield your skin from the impact of adhesive and also improve bonding.

Applying your lace front unit is not a big deal, locate our previous article on how to apply lace front wigs, so that you can follow the step-by-step instructions provided.

Human Hair Wigs – Processed vs. Unprocessed Units

Human Hair Wigs Must Know Tips About Processed and Unprocessed Ones

human hair wigsHuman hair wigs are in vogue, especially the lace wig version. These wigs look so real because the hair is sourced from real humans. Popular human hair origins include India, Malaysia, Brazil, China and other places. These natural-looking wigs are expensive, but the cost does not deter those who know that buying a human hair lace wig is an investment.

Processed Human Hair Wigs

The category of human hair lace wigs labeled processed units refers to human hair systems that have gone through hair color alteration or other chemical processing. The best way to make various hair colors available is to process the human hair, thus altering the original status of the hair.

Unprocessed Human Hair Wigs

The virgin human hair wigs are known as the unprocessed hair. No form of alteration has been carried out on the wig – the original hair color (whether blonde or black) is still intact, and the cuticles are also intact. The virgin hair is usually more expensive than the processed unit.

The Pros and Cons of Human Hair Wigs.

The pros of both processed and unprocessed human hair wigs are obvious. For the processed hair, it provides more than one hair colors, and you can also have assorted hair textures to choose from. For the unprocessed unit, the hair cuticles that give life to the hair are not tampered with, and that extra-natural feel and appearance would be obvious.

The cons of both processed and unprocessed hair are obvious as well; if you process the hair, you may not get 100% natural feel since the hair would lose the cuticles. If you do not process the hair, you can only wear just one hairstyle and single hair color at all times.

The full lace human hair wigs provide the best realistic hair appearance so that everybody would conclude that the hair is natural from birth.
