Ladies, once you've made the great decision to have on a lace front wig, it doesn't mean that you have to stay with the same original look it came in. You may want to change it every so often for an even fresher look. There are several things you can do:
1. Highlight It This is a great way to bring life to your lace front wig. Highlights always bring out the best in looks if they are done right. Always choose a color that compliments you. How? The closer you are to the wig color, the better it will look. A huge contrast is juvenile, bad almost, so be careful. You can color your wig the way you normally color your hair – your hair stylist should be able to do this with a minimum of fuss. The other option to highlights is to get custom lace front wigs made. If you would like to personally highlight your lace front wig, always ask for the natural color when you order your lace front wig. Otherwise, it is much more convenient and cheaper to buy one that is already highlighted. 2. Color It Go for a full on color change. Talk to your stylist about a different color on your wig, the whole of it, and explore options. Choose something that blends in well with your natural style, and keep your wardrobe in mind. The last thing you want is a new color of hair that clashes with your wardrobe. A tip here is to go for natural, earthy colors. 3. Trim it Yes, you can cut it shorter for a great new look. And especially with a human hair lace front wig, you'll be able to achieve a great new look because you can heat treat it to make sure that all the curls and waves are in the right place. Consult a professional for a cut, just like with your own hair, a haircut that's not well thought out can go awry. 4. Style it If you've had it on straight for a while, why not throw some curls in? With a synthetic wig, this may not be much of an option, but with human hair there's not much you can't do. Go for a full head of curls, and when you're ready to change, a flat iron will give you your straight wig back. 5. Move your Parting Yes, your front parting can be moved from center to side or got rid of all together. It will be a different look, and changing the position of your parting also gives the hair strands of the wig around that area a break. 6. Hold it Up in a Bun If it was expertly placed, this is a great way to get your lace front wig to give you a simple, sophisticated look. You can hold it up and coil it into a bun. Feel free to accessorize with pins and clips just to make sure you have all the strands in place. Drop a couple at the front, on the sides so you don't look too severe. 7. Accessorize It For those out of town Saturday afternoon drives, throw on a hat. A scarf, stylishly placed, will give your wig a whole new laid-back look too. There's lots you can do with your lace front wig to transform it on an almost everyday basis. Explore and have fun!

I am wearing a lace front wig for the first time. I did a workout yesterday, that caused me to sweat very heavy in my head and face, when I got home, the sides and across the front an back of the wig had come loose. I can actually lift the areas up, how is this problem solved?

Those are some really good ideas. I’ve done of couple of different things to my lace front. What’s wrong and what do you do when the back of it starts to separate and push up in the back?

Re: Response to Barbara’s question about working out with your lace wig
Hi Barbara,
When working out with your full lace wig, the best thing is to tie your hair with a band around your hairline( As though you were going to play tennis). This will ensure that your lace wig is not moving around. Also braid the lace wig hair in to two braids if you can as this will make sure it does not tangle up because of sweat.
Please note that it is very important that you do not try to adjust the lace wig when it is loose because of sweating and heat. Once your body temperature drops/cools, the lace wig will bond back to place.

Re: Toby’s Question about tangling.
Remember that the most important thing to do is to keep it moisturized and brush it often but not excessively. Make sure you use the right products also. If your hair poofs up try this product and it will help out alot. See link below
