Evenly spray the entire wig with the knot sealer and leave it to dry for about 15 minutes. It is recommended that you use the knot sealer the first time you use it and also every 2 to 3 weeks.
2. Fray block: Fray block is easy and effective to use while applying your lace front wig. The main purpose of fray block is to prevent your lace from excessive fraying. To use the knot sealer, first trim your lace to the hair line, get a qtip and put some fray block on the qtip. Slowly and lightly apply the fray block around the entire edge of the freshly cut lace. With fray block, less is more. If you put too much on the lace, it will dry white. It is recommended that you use fray block on your lace front wig the first time you get it and every 3 weeks.
3. Scalp protector: Your skin protector is perhaps one of the most important accessories that you can buy for your full lace front wig. A skin protector is important because it creates a barrier between your skin and the glue or tape that you might be using as adhesive. It is especially recommended for sensitive skins. It also improves hold times for lace front wig wearers in hot and humid areas. It is also great for people with oily skins and that are also active. Use your skin protector to help your adhesive to adhere to your skin better.
4. Lace Wig adhesive: There are many types of adhesives to suit everyone's needs and lifestyle. My personal favorite is C22 remover as it is orange based and gentle on skin, pretty effective and smells great too. For those hard to remove glue residues try 99 percent alcohol.
