It's the rave right now and you maybe wondering what the fuss is all about. Well, I've tried the lace front wigs for black women and I thought I'd share my experience. Overall rating for me is 10 out of 10. It did great things for me. Here are my honest reviews on lace front wigs as a black woman

1. I changed my look I'm a working mom, so I have had to perpetually struggle with how to look good while juggling all the other things I have to do. I had the same ponytail hairdo every day because there was really not much else I could do without taking up heaps of time in the morning. Then I came across the lace front wig, decided to try it and that was a revolution for me. My stylist helped me get one that with a minimum of fuss, it could be styled in different ways. I got a great look that I could change every morning in minutes. 2. My hair grew out I already told you - I was perpetually in a ponytail. Like most black women, I had that midway length hair that you always wonder what to do with. To put on the lace front wig, I had to put on cornrows. I'd just needed to wash, condition, dry and put the cornrows back again and then put on the wig. Each time, I'd notice that it had gained length. In about a year, it was way past shoulder length. A little tip here - if you want even faster growth, you can get a growth stimulator applied after you do your corn rows and your hair will have added nutrients to help it grow faster and stronger. 3. It made special occasions easier Yes - all I had to do was have it styled differently when I had something special going on. I must say I got lots of compliments on my hair. And the best was that no one would notice it's a wig unless I told them - it's that natural. Once put on, it's a part of you. It looks like your own hair. They even have lace front wigs that have baby hair and I love that. It makes it look all the more natural. 4. I could play around with it I highlighted it and had a whole new look. And when I was tired of that, I had it cropped into a close bob. Because it was human hair, it allowed me to heat style so that I could get in as much variation as possible. And by the way, you can change your lace front wig into a full head of curls too if you wish. 5. It lasted forever I've had it on and off fo about a year, and its still as good as new. The secret is in the care - not a hard job, but if you do it well and consistently, no reason why you can't have it going on and on. Wash and air dry and then store it on a wig stand. Remember to leave in an open place so that it doesn't get musty. Well, there. The cat's out of the bag.
